For Lovers Only will open the 2nd annual Imperial Valley Film Festival and Artist Showcase

For Lovers Only will screen out-of-competition, on Friday, May 4, 2012, 7:00 p.m. at the Cinemark Theater at the Imperial Valley Mall. A question and answer session with Mark Polish and the films editor Cary Gries will follow.

For Lovers Only has been submitted for a film festival in Paris

Mark Polish has submitted FLO for the Champs-Élysées Film Festival in Paris.

We really hope it will make the selection. For news about this event you can visit the festival’s facebook page or tweet them - @CEfilmfest - to let them know how much we like this movie and what it would mean to us to see it in Paris!

Submissions will be accepted until March 16th 2012. The selection will be announced during a press conference in April 2012. Fingers crossed!

 

EDIT: We regret to inform you that FLO wasn’t selected for the Champs-Élysées Film Festival.

For Lovers Only in Rome on Valentine’s day

A small special screening of For Lovers Only was held in Rome on Valentine’s day, February 14th 2012. A huge thank you to Biblioteca Casanatense for providing their beautiful place, Lavinia for organizing this event and Angus MacDonald for making it possible and presenting the film to Italian audience.

For Lovers Only at the Oldenburg Film Festival

For Lovers Only screened twice at the 18. International Filmfestival in Oldenburg, Germany, where the Polish Brothers were awarded for their 3rd film Northfork in 2003.

CinemaxX 7 17.09.11 – 20:00

 

Mark Polish was present at both of the screenings, together with a co-producer of FLO, Angus MacDonald.

They also held a Question&Answers panel for fans on 17.09.11 before the 2nd screening of FLO.

Mark Polish presenting For Lovers Only at the Transatlantyk Film Festival in Poland

For Lovers Only screened 3 times at the international Transatlantyk Film Festival in Poznań, Poland. All of the screenings were a big success, huge cinema halls were packed and the audience seemed to enjoy the film as much as the fans who came to support it. Mark Polish was present at 2 of the 3 screening in Poznań and gave many interesting insides on making of FLO while answering questions from the audience.

The Polish Brothers’ For Lovers Only premier at the Music Hall in Beverly Hills!

 

September 29th, 2010 – It’s now nearly 10PM and a stream of artists,  industry guests, and the production team are leaving the theater after  having witnessed the Polish Brothers’ 7th feature, For Lovers Only, shot  in Paris and through out Europe in a fast-paced shooting schedule that blends the Polish’s eye  for steady craft with a run-and-gun approach al la cinema New Wave. This  feature romancer has a sly edge, and puts together two fine performance  by Mark Polish (in his second lead directed by his brother Michael) and  the ingenue Stana Katic (of Castle renown)…
